Stephen is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning creator of social impact campaigns, partnering with CEOs, executives, and philanthropists to address major global challenges. He previously served as President of MTV for seven years, leading its transformation into a leading platform for Millennials with hit series like Jersey Shore, Teen Mom, and Catfish. He also launched MTV’s Social Impact Department and expanded its digital and network portfolio. Over 18 years at MTV, he created impactful campaigns such as “Choose or Lose” and initiatives on mental health, Darfur, and sexual health. Earlier, he worked at PEN America and now serves on multiple nonprofit and media boards.
