Matt Kerns

Matt is Head of the Strategy Team and VP of People Strategy and Consulting Enablement at SYPartners, where he helps leaders define the impact they want to make and build high-performing, creative, and joyful teams that deliver meaningful change. In this role, he has partnered with organizations including AARP, Cognizant, Harry’s, IBM, Nike, and Starbucks.

Before joining SYPartners, Matt worked with business and government leaders in Washington, D.C. on renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives addressing climate and economic challenges, an experience that led him to IDEO. There, he helped innovation communities apply human-centered design to tackle complex global problems. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Political Science from Colorado College.
