Guillermo’s passion for design began early, sparked by a childhood visit to a local newspaper press that led him into journalism and revealed the power of design in shaping stories and influencing the world. He went on to found a design studio in Barcelona and later served as an Art Director at The New York Times, leading redesigns of newspapers and magazines across Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa, earning international recognition for his work.
Guillermo first joined SYPartners in 2008 to bring design and creativity into organizational transformation. In 2015, he took this approach to Madrid, where he played a key role in transforming the Fundación Juan March as Director of Brand, Communications, and Experience. In 2024, Guillermo returned to SYPartners to champion the role of design across the firm’s brand, communications, and client work worldwide.
