Alberto believes today’s institutions are being called to foster human flourishing through a fundamental shift from “power over” to “power with.” As a Partner at SYPartners, he advises leaders designing more equitable and impactful organizations, coalitions, and societies, bridging the corporate and social sectors to adapt ideas, apply methods, and build connections across contexts. His work includes partnering with CEOs at Starbucks and Pfizer to redefine their companies’ roles in society, as well as advising leaders at Color of Change, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, XQ, Esalen, and AdCouncil.
Before joining SYPartners in 2016, Alberto worked at the social impact consultancy Purpose, supporting global movements alongside organizations such as the World Health Organization, the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, Unilever, Ben & Jerry’s, and Athleta. He is a judge for the Anthem Awards and a Shorty Award recipient for creating Paddle to Paris, a climate action campaign defending Indigenous land rights. Alberto holds a BA with Honors in Political Science from Bates College.
