Matt Kay


Matt is a Principal of Design at SYPartners, where he drives creative vision and leads transformational projects for organizations including WW, AT&T, Google, Johnson & Johnson, and WarnerMedia.

Prior to SYPartners, Matt specialized in building strategic brand identity systems at Champions Design (formerly OCD | Original Champions of Design) for clients that include the NBA, Nike, The New York Times, and Apollo Theater.

Outside of SYPartners, Matt advises non-profits and agencies including Justice Defenders and Mighty Ally. He has taught design classes at the School of Visual Arts in New York and Durban University of Technology in South Africa, and judged design competitions for organizations such as AIGA. His work has been recognized by ADC (Art Directors Club), TDC (Type Directors Club), and Print, among others.
