Kim believes organisations are gloriously messy human ecosystems—and that's exactly where the magic happens.
Drawing from her experience across North American, Asian, and European markets, Kim now brings this kaleidoscope of global perspective to help organisations in the UAE unlock their most powerful asset: their people.
She began her career as a human-centred design researcher and is passionate about unlocking the human potential of organisations—she believes no organisation can have a positive impact without the right people and human systems behind it.
She seeks to answer questions such as: How do you build an organisation that bends without breaking? How do you design capabilities to drive transformation in service of all stakeholders? What behaviors should organisations strive for to deliver impact? To design simple and human organisations, Kim uses imagination, intuition, and systems thinking to design the behaviors, commitments, and capabilities that make transformation feel less like disruption and more like evolution.
Previously, as a creative leader with IDEO, Kim delivered innovation solutions and organisations for companies including H&M, Adidas, Cartier, Novartis, and Intecorp (Peru). As a design researcher, she has studied the lived experiences of moms and dads, patients, employees, business owners, leaders, friends, and many others. These experiences taught her that behind every great organisation are countless human stories—and designing for those stories changes everything.
Kim has now made Abu Dhabi her home. When she's not working, you can find her exploring her new home with the same curiosity she brings to her work to better understand the culture, the people, and especially, the food. After all, understanding culture starts with understanding what brings people together around a table.
