Guillermo Nagore,
SVP, Design and Brand

Guillermo’s passion for design was ignited when he visited the local newspaper press in his hometown at the age of 10. This experience inspired him to pursue a career in journalism, where he discovered the transformative power of design in storytelling and its ability to change the world.

Guillermo established his own design studio in Barcelona before working as an Art Director at The New York Times. During his career, he led the redesign of several newspapers and magazines across Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa, earning international acclaim and awards for his work.

Guillermo first joined SYP in 2008, with the mission of applying design and creativity to organizational transformation projects with clients. In 2015, he brought this approach to Madrid, where he was instrumental in the transformation of the Fundación Juan March, a leading cultural institution in Spain, serving as the director of Brand, Communications, and Experience.

2024 marks Guillermo’s return to SYP, re-joining the firm to be a champion of the power of design in all it creates around the world—from its brand and communications to the work it does with its clients and partners.
