Steve Semelsberger

President, Individual Transformation Practice

Steve leads two areas for SYPartners: the Individual Transformation Practice—helping clients design, launch, and grow new platforms that invoke profound behavior change at scale; and Branded Products—our owned and operated digital businesses, including Leadfully (equipping emerging leaders to tap into their full potential) and Unstuck (helping people everywhere learn, change and thrive). He’s been honored to personally serve senior leaders at clients such as On Being, USA Today, the Center for Healthy Minds, and AARP.

To help foster impact at early stage and emerging technology companies, Steve serves as the Founder of Alder Growth Partners, a Partner at Capital Factory, and a Mentor at Techstars. He is also a board director for the Sustainable Food Center.

His previous experience is with high-growth technology companies, spanning general management (SVP & GM, Social Products for Demand Media) and functional management (VP, Sales & Business Development for Pluck), along with product management, marketing, and alliances positions with Motive (now part of Alcatel) and iChat (now part of Apple). In parallel, Steve built and taught the Entrepreneurship curriculum at Concordia University as an adjunct professor.

Steve holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and Spain’s IESE, along with a BS in management from Binghamton University. A father of three boys, he spends a good deal of his time outdoors with family and friends in his adopted hometown of Austin, TX.
