Sarah Thompson is passionate about helping organizations bring their visions to life through cutting-edge tools, and powerful storytelling that builds belief and inspires action—especially during critical moments of reimagination. Since joining SYPartners in 2017, Sarah has worked with organizations, including American Express, BlackRock, Coach, Edgewell, MTV, NetApp, Oath (now Verizon Media), PayPal, Point32Health, Target and Walgreens Boots Alliance.
Prior to SYPartners, Sarah spent more than a decade helping arts institutions redesign the roles they have in their communities, generating the investment needed to completely transform their work. These innovative initiatives included spearheading successful capital campaigns for three, large-scale performing arts institutions. She’s also spent time in higher education working to reimagine liberal arts education for the 21st century.
Outside of the office, Sarah can be found sailing the high seas with her partner, working on personal writing projects, or immersed in yet another novel. Sarah holds a B.A. in English with a Writing Emphasis along with a Justice and Peace Studies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
