Charin Blanken,
Principal

As a Principal at SYPartners, Charin Blanken has an abiding interest in finding new ways to bring out the creativity in others. In recent years that interest has taken the form of pioneering transformation work that interweaves humanity, creativity, technology, and business strategy.

Charin has partnered with business leaders on purpose-led culture change and innovation at various organizations, including Nike, IBM, BlackRock, XQ Superschools Institute, Kohls, and Hyatt. She also helped to co-create Treehouse, a new business in Tokyo that combines space design, mindfulness, and innovation programming to reimagine Japanese corporate culture.

Before joining SYPartners, Charin worked in brand strategy, communications and online advertising and studied the interplay of design and business strategy. She has a B.A. in Asian Studies from Pomona College, with a minor in Art and is an avid fan of science fiction.
