Barbara excels at the intersection of business strategy, creative thinking, and product design. In her role as a Principal at SYPartners, she’s focused on working alongside clients to solve complex problems and think about what’s next for technology and our culture.
She has spent her career building businesses both as an entrepreneur and as a consultant. She founded Hey, Neighbor!, a social network startup that earned her the title of “Startup Idol” from Fortune Magazine. She also built two digital agencies from seed to thriving multimillion dollar businesses.
As a consultant, Barbara has led numerous strategic engagements, such as working with General Motors to define new opportunities in the Sharing Economy, with Philips to position them in the growing field of population health, and with Comcast to create an integrated omni-channel strategy. As VP of Strategy at Huge, she led large-scale efforts with AARP, Target, Comcast, and Gucci. Prior to that, Barbara led innovation programs at Frog Design, including the re-invention of the jukebox for TouchTunes and the “office of the future” for Staples.
